Cheerful Essential Oil Rollerball Blend
This recipe involves two essential oils: grapefruit and geranium. You simply mix 10 drops of the grapefruit oil with 5 drops of geranium oil and add them to your roller ball container.
Another option is to mix 10 drops of bergamot oil with 5 drops of lemon oil.
For something a little more involved, you can also introduce coconut oil to the mix.
For another cheerful roller ball blend, mix 1 ½ teaspoon of coconut oil with 10 drops of lavender oil and 5 drops of lemon oil. Place the mixture inside the rollerball and place the lid on. You can then swirl it to combine the oils.

DIY Citrus Oil Spray for the Home
With a citrus oil spray, you can harness the natural and invigorating scent of your favorite citrus fruits and spray it around the home as a good refresher.
To make your own citrus oil spray for the home, you will need the following:
- Distilled water
- Glass bottle
- Lemon essential oil
- Lime essential oil
- Orange essential oil
- Epsom salts
The Epsom salts in this recipe are meant to be used to help disperse the oil in the water. However, you can also use alcohol or witch hazel in place of water.
Fill your bottle with the liquid you chose and add 10 drops of each essential oil. You can then add one tablespoon of Epsom salt – it is the same whether you used water, alcohol, or witch hazel. You can then seal the bottle and shake it well to combine everything.
Since oil and water separate, it needs to be shaken prior to each use. It is a super easy and effective way to use citrus oils around the home to deodorize and freshen the air.
