Palmarosa and Lavender Body Mist
Palmarosa and lavender can help create a very relaxing environment and can help put your mind at ease. Simply combine ten drops of lavender oil with five drops of Palmarosa oil, four drops of cedarwood, and five drops of jojoba oil to create a relaxing body mist you can use nightly following a warm and steamy shower. It is sure to calm your nerves and get you ready for a good night’s sleep.Dry Skin Salve
If you suffer from dry and cracked skin, then relief is right around the corner. Palmarosa has been found to help rejuvenate rough and damaged skin and creating a salve that is thicker than a lotion or cream is ideal because it can sit on the skin for longer and have more time to heal and restore. For this recipe, you need beeswax, jojoba, cocoa butter, coconut oil, Palmarosa oil, frankincense essential oil, and Ylang-Ylang essential oil. Use a double boiler to melt down the beeswax and then add 30 ml of jojoba oil. Once the solution is melted down again, you can then add the cocoa butter and coconut oil. Once mixed, remove the solution from the heat so you can add in the essential oils. You should use approximately twenty drops of the Palmarosa oil, fifteen drops of frankincense, and thirteen drops of Ylang-Ylang. This salve can be used daily on dry and cracked skin to help revitalize and restore the skin.Facial Cleanser
To make a quick facial cleanser that can effectively soothe any redness or irritation you may be experiencing, simply combine twelve drops each of Palmarosa and lavender oil to about 30 ml of unscented castile soap. Since these essential oils have powerful antiseptic and antibacterial properties, they will cut through the dirt and grime of the day and leave you with clean and refreshed skin.
