You hear the word all the time: aromatherapy. But, what exactly is it? And, very importantly, how can you benefit from it?

Well, in case you aren’t familiar with it, aromatherapy involves an array of alternative, complementary, or traditional approaches that use essential oils — concentrated oils distilled from barks, flowers, leaves, roots, seeds, and stems of plants —  for their therapeutic properties. Amazingly, this practice has been used for close to 6,000 years.

And, now, it’s widely accepted for its many benefits in promoting health — both physical and mental — and well-being. Read on now to find out the various ways that you can benefit from aromatherapy.
